Savings account with the highest interest rate on the market
7% per year is available on the Savings Account in Bank Millennium. The promotion applies to any amount up to PLN 100,000.
Now on top of the interest rate on the Savings Account - 4% per year, Bank Millennium has added a complimentary 3% on new funds paid to the account. The promotional rate of 7% per year remains valid until 9 January 2012. This is currently the highest yield on a savings account on the market, available both for small as well as large amounts - from PLN 1 to PLN 100,000. It allows a high and guaranteed yield without risk and the need to freeze funds.
When back in 2010 we launched the promotional interest rate on the Savings Account, we had over 60,000 people taking the offer and the funds on Savings Accounts increased by PLN 1 billion. This powerful feedback made us opt for a new campaign to stimulate savings. Because it makes sense to save even small amounts, the promotional rate of 7% applies in Millennium to amounts as low as PLN 1. Another benefit is the day-to-day access to the invested money, which people who use their savings on a daily basis will appreciate - comments Marek Ubysz, Head of the Savings Products Sub-unit.
Savings Account - key benefits:
- Interest rate as much as 7% per year on new funds, deposited during the promotion
- No fees for account opening and maintenance
- Additional funds can be deposited at any time
- Funds can be withdrawn without losing interest
- Without minimum amount - every zloty earns interest
- For new and current customers
Information about the promotional interest rate on the Savings Account will be brought to Customers by the new advertising campaign, about to be launched on television and in the press. The new character in the cartoon commercial is a funny lizard, which likes to eat and loaf around. The pink animal won the casting session against a snake and an elephant. I am confident people will like it. The campaign follows-up on the new communication format, which is to create a warmer brand perception and to reach the audience at large, differentiating us from the competitors. - comments Beata Krupińska, Head of the Marketing Communication Department.
