Bank Millennium launches credit card for women
Bank Millennium is expanding its offer for retail customers by launching a credit card for women. The Millennium Visa Impresja credit card provides a 5% refund of the value of transactions done with the card at all Partners of the Programme - over 20 leading brands, which represent key product categories.
The card is set up to give a refund of 5% of expenses made with the card with Programme Partners. The Customer does not have to remember to remind the merchant about the rebate. The Bank automatically applies it at the end of the settlement period. What makes this card additionally different from other programmes is the possibility of combining promotions together, thanks to which the Customer enjoys greater rebates e.g. during seasonal sales as well as other discounts offered by the Programme Partners.
The Programme Partners represent key categories of products for daily use by women:
- fashion: Zara, Pull and Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho
- luxury fashion: Baldinini, Coccinelle, Marella, Max Mara, Pennyblack, Pollini
- footwear: Venezia, Deichmann
- jewellery, cosmetics and accessories: Apart, Francesco Biasia, Sephora
- interior design: Zara Home
- home and food products: Carrefour, Piotr i Paweł
- leisure: TUI, Scan Holiday
- entertainment: Empik, Sony
- for children: Smyk
As early as in the conceptual stage we tried to get to know women's expectations very accurately and to create a product, which is perfectly matched to their needs. For this purpose we went through an international conceptual process, which permitted us to define key card features. Attractiveness of the offer was confirmed in research done on a representative group of the Bank's Lady Customers. Research results were used to work out the details of the offer - says Honorata Byczyńska, Director of the Consumer Finance Sub-unit in Bank Millennium - We are convinced that the Impresja credit card functionality spans all areas of life, which are important for women. We selected such Partners for the Programme who guarantee high quality of their products and services. We have also provided value-added benefits, such as a broad package of assistance services, which provides women with a sense of security in emergencies.
The extensive assistance package, apart from providing standard benefits such as roadside car repair, car towing, also provides services made for women specifically. These include arranging home tuition for children, arranging a visit to a beauty salon or specialist assistance in assembly of home appliances. An additional advantage of the Millennium Visa Impresja credit card is also the possibility of spreading payment for shopping done with the card into 0% instalments. Thus twice a year no-interest credit is available, which does not encumber the household budget. Also the offer includes a special programme created in cooperation with the Carrefour supermarket chain. The programme enables i.a. making daily shopping without waiting in a queue, by paying with the card at special cash counters.
Key advantages of having the Impresja credit card:
- refund of 5% of the amount spent with all Partners of the Programme,
- interest-free credit twice a year in the Easy Payments programme, with the possibility of spreading card credit over as many as 12 months,
- broad assistance package, which comprises various household, medical and car related services,
- personal schedulekeeper with remind function about important private dates: insurance renewal, medical, business meetings, family birthdays, car service, official document deadlines (tax returns, certificates etc.)
