Refunds for purchases are becoming increasingly popular

In the era of high inflation, when customers are increasingly paying attention to prices, saving on deals may turn out to be a good alternative. As much as 1540 PLN refund for the purchase was received by a Bank Millennium customer who in May took advantage of one of the offers available in the new Millennium 360° account. The transaction was carried out in a well-known shop with home appliances.

"Refunds for purchases are a new feature that we are constantly developing. It allows our customers to make cheaper purchases in well-known and popular online shops. If the customer initiates a transaction in one of nearly 800 online shops via the mobile app or online banking of Bank Millennium, then we will give him a refund. The level of refund varies, depending on the shop it can be 3%, 5% or even 25% of the transaction value. Thanks to this, when buying, you can simultaneously save small amounts, which over time add-up to a bigger sum. Then this money can be paid to your account and used for any purpose" - says Szymon Kuchciak, head of the Payment Cards Sub-unit at Bank Millennium.

Refunds for purchases, i.e. the popular cashback, are still a novelty for many people. Therefore, Bank Millennium is trying to encourage active use of this option. From 6 June, customers who make their first purchase with Bank Millennium for any amount will receive a starter bonus – 20 PLN. Recently, the Bank has also made available temporary special offers that guarantee higher refunds in selected online shops. Current promotions can be found in the Bank Millennium mobile application, which is available in the App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery.
