Virtual gift card – a present, which will make it on time

The definite majority of MilleŚwięta survey respondents would rather get a gift card, which allows them to spend the money in many different shops, than in a specific favourite shop (73% vs 11%). The gift eCard is a present, which the person you gave it to can use in any online and traditional shop in Poland.

Key information about the goodie gift eCard:

• The card can be applied for only in the goodie app.
• the eCard can have a value of up to PLN 500.
• It may be presented to a goodie app user as well as to someone who had never used the app before. The recipient will be able to use the card after registering with goodie.
• Thanks to cooperation with Visa the card may be used to pay in all online and traditional shops (with use of Google Pay or Apple Pay) in Poland.
• Issuing and using the card is free of charge.
• The eCard is valid for 12 months.
• The eCard is in electronic form. Data of the gift card are in the goodie app.
• Every goodie user can present 5 eCards in a month.
• The eCard is a gift with greetings in an attractive format. You can choose among templates, graphics and animations available in the app (70 graphics, 14 animations, 250 stickers). There are also 62 proposed greetings to choose from, or you can write your own.
• You can choose how to inform the beneficiary that the present was sent - i.a. by e-mail, online messaging system or to a phone number.
• The eCard is available in the latest version of goodie app (v. 2.12).

Goodie users can make additional savings when making online purchases in several hundred internet shops, which are partners of the goodie cashback programme.

Survey metric: the survey was carried out by Instytut Badań Rynkowych i Społecznych IBRiS on 12–15 November 2019 on a representative nationwide sample of 1000 adult Poles. Survey technique: CATI. The total amount of spending is calculated on the basis of declarations of respondents defining the planned amount of Christmas spending. The calculation uses GUS demographic data regarding population distribution as well as household size and structure. Data regarding households covered by the Family 500+ programme come from declarations of the persons surveyed as well as statistics provided by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
