Augmented Reality with a unique Mobile Deposit offering in Bank Millennium
Bank Millennium is the first in Poland to release to private clients two new functions in the Mobile Application: augmented reality technology as well as 3D Touch functionality. Thanks to the first solution clients will have a simple and surprising way to get a high interest rate (up to 3.5% per annum) on the Mobile Deposit.
Augmented reality
Augmented reality technology permits combining the image of the real world in real time with 3D animation, thus supplementing or expanding the visible reality. This can be pure information as well as marketing and promotional material.
Bank Millennium is the first on the market to use augmented reality technology to promote a high interest rate savings deposit. A special banner on the Bank’s website shows the standard terms and conditions of the deposit, however each client who decides to use augmented reality will see something else. This will be a few seconds-long surprising animation with growing interest rate as a bonus. It takes just a click to get even 3.5% per annum on a Mobile Deposit.
The promotion in augmented reality (an extra 0.25 percentage point on the Mobile Deposit) is available to all holders of accounts in Bank Millennium who use the new version of the mobile application. The promotional interest rate will be among the best on the market.

How to set up a Mobile Deposit in the latest version of the Mobile Application:
- in the application’s menu select the Augmented Reality option
- direct the phone’s camera at the special banner on the www.bankmillennium.pl website
- after recognising the banner the phone will show a special animation with the possibility to set up a deposit
- continue the track and set up the deposit
3D Touch
A phone screen with 3D Touch recognises the degree of pressure and allows choosing specific operations before opening the app. To use this function just hold and slightly press the smartphone screen. After pressing the Bank Millennium Mobile Application icon a contextual menu will open with the possibility to go immediately to a domestic transfer, history of account, mobile top-up or upcoming payments. Additionally after logging on to the app and pressing on a specific product users will be able to view history without the need to go into product details.
3D Touch is one of the most important innovations of recent months; thanks to this technology managing finances in the app is easier and more intuitive. At present 3D Touch is available for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
