Instant transfers to ZUS and Tax Offices for Companies now available in Bank Millennium

Business customers of Bank Millennium can now send Express Elixir instant transfers to ZUS, tax and customs offices. The transfers may be sent via Millenet online banking system. The new service allows businesses to pay social insurance contributions, taxes and customs duties in real time.

- Our business customers, especially smaller companies, have for some time now been looking forward to this possibility. Despite a favourable provision in Tax Law, according to which as regards social insurance and tax payments the payment date is considered to be the date of debiting the taxpayer’s account, businesses often have a problem with punctual payment. Now the business can send the payment in real time and be confident that the transfer will arrive on time even if made on the last payment date. The bank was able to implement the service because the National Bank of Poland joined the Express Elixir system – Marta Postek, Director of the Transactional Banking Department in Bank Millennium said.

- We know how important modern e-banking tools are in day-to-day running of a business. We strive to implement them very fast, often as the first on the market. We can do it thanks to our advanced transactional system. We also keep analysing customer opinions – we do customer surveys, gather feedback and suggestions and also interview customers, which allows us to propose solutions aligned with customers’ needs – Ricardo Campos, Director of the Electronic Banking Department in Bank Millennium said.

Customers of Bank Millennium can send Express Elixir instant transfers by means of the Millenet online banking system on a 24/7 basis. Instant transfer option is available on the transfer form where the customer needs to select the transfer method – standard or instant. Customers can send instant transfers to all banks, which have joined the Express Elixir system. The transfers may be made only in PLN and exclusively between banks in Poland.
