Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Bank Millennium encourage the Portuguese to invest in Poland

Currently there are more than 80 active business in Poland with Portuguese capital. In order to attract more of them the Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (PPCC) in cooperation with Bank Millennium is organising the “Go Poland” seminar in Lisbon on 22 January, which will look at how attractive Poland is for Portuguese investors.

The seminar will take place on 22 January on the premises of the Portuguese National Chamber of Trade and Industry in Lisbon and is organised in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in Lisbon, Bank Millennium and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

- It is our aim to present to Portuguese companies the existing opportunities regarding financing of investments and trade and also to show the specific support available from successful business environment institutions such as PPCC, PAIH, or specialised consulting companies, which are our members – Wojciech Baczyński, PPCC Director General, said.

- At the seminar we will show ways of satisfying financial needs of companies coming to Poland to invest or trade on the Polish market. The businesses can count of full support from Trade Solutions Department in Millennium bcp in Portugal as well as from Iberian Desk of Bank Millennium in Poland. Such a “bridge” provides a guarantee of a lasting and long-term relationship with the Polish market – Vitor Pinto, Director of Bank Millennium’s Credit Committee, said.

“Go Poland” is being organised by PPCC in Portugal for the fifth time now as part of the Warsaw-based Chamber’s bilateral promotion effort.
