Provide the bank with your new personal identity card number via the mobile app

Customers of Bank Millennium can change the data of their personal identity card and their contact data completely online. The new service is available in the mobile app and in the Millenet internet banking system.

So far customers of Bank Millennium could change their mailing and e-mail address in the Millenet transactional system. Now they can also do it in Millennium’s mobile app. Together with the new service they also received the possibility to make an online update of the data of their personal identity card (series and number, issue and validity date). The service is available in the mobile app and in Millenet alike. With a view to quality of the data entered, the bank’s system communicates directly with public administration systems and the data are checked automatically. In this way both the customer and the bank have certainty that the data were entered correctly.

- In accordance with the strategy of Bank Millennium, one of our key motivations is to facilitate customers’ daily lives. The possibility to update data online anywhere and anytime is another solution, which confirms its consistent implementation. – Halina Karpińska, Director of the Electronic Banking Department in Bank Millennium, said.

The bank will remind the customer one month in advance that validity of the document is approaching its end; therefore there will be time to replace the identity card and to update the data. An application for a new personal identity card can be submitted by a customer also online with use of Trusted Profile via Millenet.
