New Millenet for private Customers and Biznes segment Customers

Bank Millennium has prepared a new version of the Internet banking system for private Customers and Biznes segment Customers. The system has been expanded to include new functions, which improve management of finances and facilitate control over the household budget.

Work on the new Millenet release involved analysis of system functions to identify those used most often by Customers; also customer feedback and user test results were taken into account. In result of the analyses the new system version comes with a strongly remodelled information architecture – the menu has been divided into a several main categories, thus moving around the system and getting to the most frequently performed operations is even easier - says Ricardo Campos, Director of the Electronic Banking Department in Bank Millennium.

The new system version was also enriched with following functionalities:

  • Defining a list of shortcuts to most often performed operations – the list is available always in the left column.
  • Transparent and easy setting up of a term deposit as well as savings account, which permits quick comparison between offered products and selection of the one best suited to the Customer's needs.
  • Customers can personalise the main page layout in an even easier way, by hiding or displaying panels (My Account, My Cards, Upcoming Payments and other).

Correspondence history in the Messages section – now all correspondence with Bank Millennium consultants is displayed in one place.
Additional capabilities were also added to the Finance Manager – an interactive tool available to all users, which provides efficient control over expenses. Apart from previously available functions, Finance Manager will now permit creating budgets for categories and subcategories of expenses (their balance may be followed on graphs, which present the actual level of planned expenses) as well as creating a Savings Plan, which will suggest categories, in which it is possible to cut back on expenses in order to effectively save money. Additionally the Finance Manager comes with an Interactive Planner in the form of a convenient calendar with identified upcoming transactions, which will help provide a full picture of finances over time.

The new version of Millenet for private and Biznes Customers has been audited by the "Fundacja Widzialni" foundation, which – as in the case of the previous system release – has given it the "Website Without Barriers" certificate. It is a mark of quality, which identifies websites that have been deemed available and tailored to the needs of people threatened with digital exclusion, including disabled persons. The certificate, granted by Fundacja Widzialni, is a guarantee of full compliance with international standards of website availability. Bank Millennium is the first bank in Poland to have fully adapted its website and its Internet banking system for private Customers and Biznes segment Customers to the needs of disabled users.

During the first month after its release, the new Millenet version will be available to Customers together with the former system version, to allow easy understanding of the changes made. Choosing the old or new version of the system can be done on the log on screen.
