Maria Campos hailed IT@BANK Market Visionary
Maria Campos, Member of the Management Board of Bank Millennium responsible for the IT area, received the special personal 2017 Market Visionary award yesterday. During the IT@Bank conference the award was presented by Włodzimierz Kiciński, Vice-President of Polish Bank Association and Stanisław Brzeg-Wieluński, editor-in-chief of “Miesięcznik Finansowy BANK” monthly.
Maria Campos was acclaimed for her strategic approach to the role of IT in development of modern banking; for efficient and innovative management of the area of new technologies and effectively supporting business in several dozen innovative projects, which have made Bank Millennium the Polish market leader in digital banking. In particular last year for launching the goodie.pl intuitive mobile shopping app, which widens the array of channels for reaching the bank’s current and future customers.
IT@BANK is the biggest annual conference in Poland, devoted to banking IT matters, which brings together an elite gathering of IT decision-makers from banks, insurance companies, SKOK credit unions and technology companies. The organisers are: Centrum Prawa Bankowego i Informacji, publisher of “Miesięcznik Finansowy BANK” in cooperation with Electronic Banking Council as well as the Banking Technologies Forum of the Polish Bank Association. The conference is seen to be one of the industry’s most important national events, during which latest technologies used in banking IT are presented.
