Smartphone deposits not only for summer holidays

All Customers of mobile banking, wherever they may be (in a tram, at work or on a sun-scorched beach) may now invest their savings by phone. In the same way deposits are available in the Happy Hours promotion, which offers an interest rate increased to 7% per annum. Happy Hours are announced once a week and are displayed on smartphone screens.

This as well as other e-banking and mobile banking services from Bank Millennium have been appreciated and rewarded by the independent financial magazine Global Finance. In July yet again the bank was recognised as the Best Consumer Internet Bank in Poland and Best Online Deposit, Credit and Investment Product Offerings in Central and Eastern Europe.

Already now, with use of a computer of phone, from any location worldwide, you can buy almost all bank products: cash loans, credit cards, mutual funds and deposits. This year alone Bank Millennium launched instant transfers, which reach beneficiaries within seconds, the Finance Manager system, which helps manage the household budget or mobile banking for small companies.
Also work on 3D-Secure is well advanced (a high-tech security standard for online card transactions) as well as the NFC (Near Field Communication) mobile payments project, which will permit making contactless payments with mobile phones. The payment will be made with a payment card put on a special SIM card in a handset, equipped with an NFC antenna.
