Winners have been selected of the Bank Millennium competition held on YouTube
A popular online vote decided who won the BMW series 1 Coupé and the cash prizes - close to 100 000 votes were cast and over 600,000 visitors were registered on the channel.
The Bank Millennium competition was extremely popular and was the best such event held by a financial institution on YouTube worldwide. Participants in the competition, which began on 10 May 2010, was to prepare online advertising of Konto Internetowe, offered by Bank Millennium. Close to 400 adverts were submitted - the competition jury, chaired by Grzegorz Kiszluk, editor-in-chief of the Brief magazine, qualified fifteen videos for the finals. The finalists met all criteria stipulated in the regulations and stood apart from others as regards creativity, sense of humour and an unconventional approach to the task at hand.
The best video among the finalists was selected by popular online vote. The voting was held on 10-20 June. The authors actively promoted their work, shown on www.youtube.com/180tysiecy, encouraging visitors to vote for them.
A total of 98 642 votes were cast, with 16 111 of them for the SuperHubert video, which won the competition and the author of which will get a smart BMW. The four runners-up will receive cash prizes.
The winners' list was published at www.youtube.com/180tysiecy. The prize-giving ceremony will be held in July.
