Goodie cashback as a recipe for price increases? The value of purchases in the program exceeded PLN 1 billion

The goodie shopping platform (mobile application and website) is one of the few on the market that allows you to combine promotions, so users can take advantage of special discounts and bonuses offered by stores, and at the same time receive a refund of part of the expenses. As part of goodie cashback, nearly 800 popular brands and stores are available.

- In 2021, we recorded a record interest of users in online shopping and the goodie cashback programme, which resulted in reaching the ceiling of 1 billion transactions under the program. Particularly interesting was the fourth quarter, in which the results of the program soared sharply – in the last three months of the year, transactions in the amount of nearly PLN 208 million were completed – an increase of 70% y/y. We are increasingly buying online, and the galloping growth of the prices of goods and services makes us look for opportunities and savings on everyday purchases i.a. thanks to programmes such as goodie cashback - says Wojciech Grudzień, CEO of Millennium Goodie. -

The popularity of the service is also growing among Bank Millennium customers - initially available only in the bank's mobile application, in the fourth quarter of 2021 it was also made available on the Millenet website. – adds Wojciech Grudzień

The rules for using the goodie cashback programme are very simple. Just download the goodie app to your smartphone or visit the www.goodie.pl website or go to goodie from the level of Bank Millennium’s mobile app or internet service, register with goodie, then select the online shop with the cashback sign, go to the particular brand shop’s website using the link provided by goodie and finish the transaction. Within one working day from the purchase cashback will appear on the goodie account (from a few to even several dozen per cent of the amount paid for the purchases) with the status “Waiting”. The status will change to “Approved” after the shop has confirmed the transaction was OK. Having collected at least PLN 21, you can transfer it to any bank account in Poland. It is important to note that cashback may be combined with other rebates available on the goodie shopping platform, offered by Internet stores covered by the programme and with special discounts specially prepared for goodie users.
