Bank Millennium has added POS terminals to its business offering

Bank Millennium has provided Biznes segment clients with the comprehensive service of rental of POS terminals together with payments acceptance and terminal servicing. The Bank has also prepared a promotion, in which clients will get three months co-financing of the POS terminal rent. Additionally customers can get co-financing in Polska Bezgotówkowa (Cashless Poland) Programme.

In this service the bank offers a broad selection of PayTel S.A. payment terminals (stationary and mobile), which can be integrated with fiscal cash registers. The terminals accept VISA and Mastercard cards together with the DCC option (Dynamic Currency Conversion), BLIK and contactless payments as well as such value added services as Cash Back or sale of mobile top ups (eVoucher). The offer is being expanded to include new opportunities.

- Payment terminals are increasingly popular on the Polish market and the number of people actively using electronic payment options keeps growing. By introducing the POS payment terminal rental service Bank Millennium joins the group of institutions, which offer their clients the opportunity to move their business into the world of electronic payments – Halina Karpińska, Director of the Electronic Banking Department in Bank Millennium, said.

The Bank offers two POS terminal delivery options - via courier (the client will install the terminal him/herself) or with installation by a technician. In either case the client will get terminal operation training from PayTel - in electronic form in case of courier delivery, while in the latter case training will be provided by the technician.

Initially the terminals will be sold by Biznes experts and agreements will be signed on the client’s premises or in a Millennium branch. It is planned to make the service available also in other channels. Eventually all clients (current and new ones) will be able to order terminals on the bank’s website, in the Millenet internet banking system and in a Millennium branch.

The Bank has prepared promotion of the service where it offers three-month co-financing of the POS terminal rent - during the first three months the rental fee is PLN 1 per month. The promotion is available to clients who signed a 24-month agreement. Additionally in the Polska Bezgotówkowa Programme clients who satisfy the programme requirements will benefit from co-financing fees on transactions up to PLN 100,000 as well as free of charge rental of the terminal during 12 months. In case of clients who take co-financing from Polska Bezgotówkowa Programme, the bank’s promotion will apply to the 13th, 14th and 15th month of the agreement. If the client does not benefit from the programme, the bank’s promotion will be applied during the first three months of validity of the agreement.
