Bank Millennium - "Pearl of the Polish Stock Exchange" according to "Parkiet" daily
Bank Millennium came up first in the "Finances" category of the "Pearls of the Polish Stock Exchange" ranking arranged by the "Parkiet" Stock Exchange newspaper. The "Pearls of the Polish Stock Exchange" award has been conceived by the newspaper as a way to recognise companies, which reached financial, market and stock exchange success in 2005. Market success is considered to be growth of sales revenue, while as regards financial success – very good financial results and the level of dividend.
"Pearls of the Polish Stock Exchange" were awarded in five categories:
- new technologies,
- finances,
- raw materials and energy,
- trade and consumer goods,
- industry and building construction.
In each of these categories financial and market ratios of companies were analysed and assigned specific scores.
Bank Millennium scored 76.6 points out of 100. Particularly appreciated were the dynamics of the Bank's profit as well as dividend policy in 2005.
