Only your child can change their BLIK limits. A legal guardian (a parent or court-appointed guardian) cannot change a child's BLIK limits.
Note: Regardless of age, a child and their legal guardian share a monthly spending limit. This limit applies only to the child's account and is referred to as the ordinary management limit. The current limit is 9395,26 PLN.
Disposals that exceed the ordinary management limit require court approval.
The following count towards the limit:
- cash withdrawals, including branch withdrawals and cashback transactions
- outgoing transfers
- card and BLIK payments
Example: A child aged 13 to 18 can set a BLIK online payment limit of up to 10 000 PLN. However, this does not mean they will be able to make a payment of that amount. If the transaction exceeds the ordinary management limit, it will be declined.
Want to disable BLIK and other transactions for your child?
Visit a branch with both your identity document and your child's identity document. You can do this for children aged 7 to 18. Younger children cannot make transactions on their own.
