A nursery benefit is granted for a child who attends a nursery, children's club or is under the care of a child care provider. You will find the application for the benefit in the menu in MilleAdministration tab, both in Millenet and in the mobile app. You can submit it at the earliest on the day the child starts attending the institution or is under the care of the child care provider.
You can find the form in MilleAdministration section in both Millenet and mobile app.
Once we verify the application, we will send it over to ZUS.
Now ZUS checks the data in your application.
You will get an e-mail from ZUS to your email address specified in the application about granting the benefit.
Below, we have collected important information regarding the benefit
The benefit is a maximum of 400 PLN monthly per child, but not more than the amount of the fee you pay for a nursery, children's club or child care provider. The fee is the monthly amount you pay after taking into account any discounts, subsidies from the commune budget or EU funds. This amount does not include the meal fee. ZUS will transfer the benefit by the 20th of each month for the previous month to the bank account of the entity running the nursery, children's club, the child care provider employing or to the bank account of the child care provider who is self-employed.
Only the child's mother or father may submit an application via the bank. Legal guardians can submit an application via the PUE ZUS platform.
The nursery benefit will be granted and paid by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).
Applications may be submitted to ZUS only electronically:
The application in Millenet online banking system and in the mobile app will appear on 1 April 2022.
If you submit an application for the benefit by the end of May 2022, ZUS will grant you the benefit from the month in which your child started attending a nursery, children's club or from which he was under the care of a child care provider- but not earlier than from 1 January 2022.
You can apply for the benefit at the earliest on the day your child starts attending the nursery, children's club or child care provider. If you submit the application within 2 months from that date, ZUS will grant the benefit from the day on which the child began his or her stay in a nursery, children's club or with a child care provider. If you submit your application later, ZUS will grant the benefit from the month in which you submit your application.
If the application is submitted through the bank, ZUS will check whether the applicant has a profile at PUE ZUS. If there is no profile at PUE ZUS, ZUS will set up such a profile for the applicant to contact them or to check the application status based on the data from the application. The applicant will receive confirmation of setting up the profile to the e-mail address provided in the application. They will also receive a one-time password to the phone number from the application, which they must change when logging in to PUE ZUS for the first time. The applicant will receive the password in an SMS from the address "ZUS".
If the child does not have a PESEL number, attach a birth certificate to the application along with a translation into Polish, if the birth certificate was issued in a country other than the United Kingdom and EU/EFTA countries.
