Ordering cash to a branch in the Bank Millennium app

Bank Millennium customers can easily and quickly order cash to a selected branch in the mobile application. The new functionality increases the comfort of customers planning larger withdrawals.
Ordering cash in the app is a convenient way to ensure that cash is available at the selected outlet – both in PLN as well as in four foreign currencies: euro (EUR), US dollars (USD), Swiss francs (CHF) and pounds sterling (GBP). The service is available to individual customers and customers of the Business segment.
— The new service is another step towards even greater convenience and independence for our customers. More and more people today expect solutions that allow them to act quickly, intuitively and without the need to contact service staff. Thanks to this functionality, users of the mobile application can fully independently reserve a specific amount of cash in a selected branch, and if their plans change, it is just as easy to cancel the order — says Paweł Konopka, Manager of the Retail Digital Platforms Team at Bank Millennium.
Until now, cash could be ordered via the hotline or in a branch. The functionality is available in the latest version of the mobile application. All you have to do is log in to the application and select Profile → Applications and instructions → Cash order to the branch, and then fill in a short application. The customer indicates the account from which the withdrawal will be made, the amount, currency and denominations - any or one preferred. Then, from among the bank's own branches with cash service, he chooses the one where he wants to collect money. He also specifies the date of cash collection.
The Bank has prepared contextual communication to customers to support them in the execution of instructions.
— The implementation of ordering cash to a branch via the mobile app is another step by Bank Millennium towards the digitalisation of processes and services expected by our customers. The functionality has been implemented using geolocation and native Apple Maps (iOS) and Google Maps (Android). Thanks to this, customers can easily and quickly find a convenient branch to which they can order cash — says Robert Jaworski, Head of the Digital Solutions Sub-unit at Bank Millennium.
The new option complements the wide range of services available in the mobile app that make holiday travel easier. Customers can conveniently order cash in the currency of their choice in low denominations for small fees during their holiday abroad. Travelling customers can also use cashless payments - they can pay in foreign currency directly from the Millennium 360° account or by credit card. The limit of up to PLN 5,000 per month allows you to settle currency transactions with the card without the Bank's margin for currency conversion. The Bank also applies attractive exchange rates of payment organisations for transactions in foreign currency with all types of cards. Millennium 360° account holders can also instantly exchange currencies in the Bank Millennium mobile app. In the exchange office, you can exchange: euros (EUR), dollars (USD), British pounds (GBP) and Swiss francs (CHF). The Bank offers several different travel insurances to its customers, including free Safe Travel insurance, which is automatically added to the Visa Global credit card. There are also travel insurances that you can purchase yourself.
Nearly 3 million of Bank Millennium customers actively use digital channels, and over 2.7 million use banking on mobile devices. The Bank consistently implements the strategy of building omnichannel service with a "mobile-first" approach, which puts mobile banking in the centre of attention. In 2024, the number of logins to the mobile app exceeded one billion. The Bank's activities have gained recognition outside Poland. In July 2025, Bank Millennium received the Poland's Best Digital Bank for Consumers award, given in the Awards for Excellence competition by the financial magazine Euromoney.
