New Investment Plans in Bank Millennium’s offering

Bank Millennium has offered new Investment Plans – Spokojny, Wyważony and Aktywny (Calm, Balanced and Active), created i.a. for people who had not invested before. Each Plan represents a different investment strategy, diversified in terms of level of risk and potential gains. The Plans invest in many global and local funds at the same time with Millennium TFI managers watching over their optimum composition. Customers do not pay fees for opening, additional payments to the Plans as well as their potential switch, while management fees are reduced. They can also freely move funds between the Plans. The Plans may also be bought and managed online in the mobile app and Millenet Internet system.
The new Millennium Investment Plans have been prepared with a view to various investment styles and preferences of customers. They can be bought, started-up and managed in a very simple, intuitive and friendly way. When setting-up the plan customers can define a standing order, which allows regular automatic additional payments to be made to the plan of choice and encourages regularly putting money aside.
- Our earlier Investment Plans were extremely popular; by end of September 2021 customers opened 61,000 plans and accumulated more than 1.5 bn PLN in them. This induced us to create new investment strategies, which are more flexible and offer more opportunities. We have also made them available in the mobile app, so they are available to customers in the most convenient way, anywhere and at any time. Customers can withdraw the money invested in the plan at any time; the duration of the investment is entirely up to the customer. We want to develop the offering in this direction because we see that customers reach for such solutions readily – said Robert Chorzępa, Head of Savings and Investment Products Sub-unit in Bank Millennium.
The minimum amount of the first and subsequent deposit is PLN 200. Customers can change the plan for others multiple times and without fees, adjusting the investment to current needs, preferences and market situation. Each of the plans represents a separate investment strategy:
- Plan Spokojny, created with a view to persons who accept a low level of risk and limited volatility of the investment result, are interested in medium and long-term saving. This Plan has the highest share of bond funds, with a low participation of stock funds;
- Plan Wyważony, targeted at persons who accept an increased level of investment risk, seeking an opportunity for above-average gains. This Plan has a similar share of bond funds and stock funds;
- Plan Aktywny, which offers the opportunity to have significant gains in the medium and long term, created with a view to persons who accept a high level of investment risk. This Plan has the highest share of stock funds (over 70%).
Each of the Plans can be opened in the mobile app, via Millenet Internet banking as well as in a Bank Millennium branch.
