Electronic cash withdrawals in Bank Millennium
In May corporate banking shall launch the Electronic Cash Withdrawal service. This innovative alternative to cheques and postal money transfers will allow businesses to make settlements with their customers without even knowing their bank accounts.
We dedicate this service to Customers who make large numbers of cash withdrawals like damages, scholarships, advances, loans or remuneration to seasonal workers when the beneficiary's account number is not known. The process has been simplified to a minimum and is 100% remote - the Customer will order a withdrawal via online banking while the person concerned will collect the money in any Millennium branch - says Małgorzata Turlińska, Expert in the Transactional Banking Department.
The Customer places a cash withdrawal order via online banking and specifies:
- the account, from which the withdrawal is to be made,
- the validity period (start and end date) i.e. the time, during which the cash may be paid out,
- name, surname and address of the beneficiary together with identity document number or PESEL
- withdrawal amount and title.
Service benefits:
- convenience - no need to have cash desks and to keep a cash reserve,
- security - greater than in case of issuing a paper payment order or cheque,
- availability - the withdrawal can be made in any Millennium branch,
- flexibility - availability of four different types of orders makes it easier for the Customer to manage payments and to adjust withdrawals to current needs and liabilities,
- control - up-to-date information about statuses of individual orders.
