On 23 June this year in the offices of Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A. in Warsaw an agreement was signed between the Management Boards of Millennium Leasing and ARP Leasing. In the agreement the cooperation principles and procedure were defined as regards sale of means of transport leased under Lease Contracts signed by Millennium Leasing, in relation to ARP Leasing’s decision to grant refinancing of leasing made under these contracts within the framework of the Crisis Shield for transport sector companies.

This is very good news for Polish transport companies, which are so far getting lease from our business partner. Thanks to the joint agreement regarding form and procedure of cooperation, entrepreneurs can count on a consistent approach to the possibility of getting refinancing of current lease contracts under the support mechanism we are offering, if such is chosen. The cooperation agreement under the Crisis Shield measures with Millennium Leasing is the first one, which we are materialising after a couple of weeks of intensive and excellent cooperation of working teams of our companies. I think this is a benchmark of professionalism and cooperation between the commercial and public sectors, whose common interest is to assure optimum support for businesses in the difficult situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic – Wojciech Miedziński, Chairman of the Management Board of ARP Leasing, said.

The agreement signed with ARP Leasing under the Crisis Shield support instrument offered by ARP, defines the operational framework for using this instrument, which is part of a suite of solutions supporting the liquidity of Polish businesses. I am glad that we were able to lead to this in such a short period of time. At the same time I believe this first step is a good sign for the future when apart from supporting liquidity we will be able to take part in subsequent stages of supporting Poland’s economy. The lease sector has been supporting Polish business investments for many years and also to a significant extent - sakes made by Polish manufacturers and distributors of machines and equipment or railway and road vehicles – Marcin Balicki, Chairman of the Management Board of Millennium Leasing, said.

For years Millennium Leasing ( has been offering lease finance for all sectors in Poland. The Company is an active member of Polish Leasing Association, involved particularly in the establishment of the ZPL Digitalisation Group and one of the first lease companies to have appeared on the Polish market. Lease services are being sold by lease advisers in 70 branches throughout Poland. Sales activity is also carried out in active cooperation with relationship managers, in retail branches and corporate units of Bank Millennium.
