Higher rating for Bank Millennium

Bank Millennium announced that the rating agency Moody's Investor Service Ltd. Increased on 7 April 2005 the Bank's lon-term deposit rating from "A-3" to "A2" evaluating its perspective as "stable". According to Moody's the increase of the rating, reflects the progressing operational integration of Bank Millennium with its strategic shareholder, Portuguese Bank BCP, which provides Millennium with current support and transfer o know-how.

The Moody's Agency also increased the perspective of financial rating for Bank Millennium at level "D-"  from "stable" to "positive".
 
According to Moody's this reflects the effects of the Bank's deep restructuring process, within the framework of which the foundations were constructed for organic growth supported by the strong capital base, aggressive market strategy, innovative products, strengthened by the sales potential and improved by risk management.
