Millennium Biznes expands its advisory services in leasing
Millennium Biznes, network of Bank Millennium offering banking services to the small business market is expanding its advisory offering and services for businessmen and corporations in leasing by opening advisory services available through interactive video-conferencing technology.
Services are provided using the "Eksperci Millennium" advisory system available at all Millennium branches. Millennium Biznes offers leasing services in cooperation with BEL Leasing. This constitutes a successive step taken by Bank Millennium in developing cross-selling of financial services throughout the Bank Millennium Group.
Because of the complex nature of leasing services, the video-conferencing system is to support customers in obtaining clear-cut information on leasing opportunities. This new form of services available to those interested in obtaining detailed services or an analysis of the company's portfolio prior to deciding about leasing, allows the customer to use video-conferencing technology to talk directly to the Leasing Advisor at the Bank's Central Office. The system is interactive and operates in real time, so the Customer not only sees and talks to the Advisor, views analysis on the computer screen, but it also seen by the Advisor. Advisors have been selected from among persons having many years of experience in corporate banking services, possessing comprehensive knowledge about leasing and skills allowing transfer of such knowledge in an easy to comprehend manner.
As leasing compared with a loan is characterized by a more simple and rapid acceptance path (with just limited formalities and set of documents required), once the Advisor enters a limited set of data into the system (such as industry, object of lease, value of the object, type and duration of lease, basic financial data of the company for the last two years, etc.) the Customer receives a preliminary assessment of BEL Leasing on the possibility of arranging such financing. If a positive decision is made, the Customer may also receive a simulation of leasing installment repayment schedule.
The preliminary assessment with repayment schedule simulation presented to the Customer does not constitute an offer (as provided for in the Civil Code), but never-the-less clearly specifies conditions that the Customer has to fulfill to take advantage of this joint leasing offer provided by Millennium Biznes and BEL Leasing. At the same time, in course of discussion with the Advisor, the Customer may obtain information on bookkeeping aspects of operating and financial leases, insuring of the leased object, documents requited, etc.
A preliminary assessment of Customer's leasing opportunities allows the Customer to more rapidly react to the market situation upon acquisition of the given fixed asset. This is of particular importance for businesses with limited own equities, service companies or developing businesses, i.e. companies being the customers of Millennium Biznes.
This new advisory offer gives the Customers access to tools making leasing at Millennium Biznes even more easily available.
Bank Millennium introduced the "Eksperci Millennium" advisory video-conferencing system at its Millennium branch network in 2002. Videoconferences support the Bank in providing its Customers with detailed information about Bank's offering and allows assistances in performing particularly complex analyses. So far, more than 5,000 persons have used this took through direct link sessions. Most of them were not customers of the Bank, but decided to use its offering after obtaining analyses prepared by experts.
Services provided through the video-conferencing system involve mortgage loan analyses and advice in respect to financial products offered by the Bank, such as bonds, investment funds, certain structural deposits and leasing.
The system is available at 245 branches of the Millennium network and allows access to advisory services by other business line customers of Bank Millennium.
Millennium Biznes was established in 2001 as a special business line offering of Bank Millennium tailored to the small business market. Millennium Biznes comprises a synthesis of the rich expertise of Millennium and Enterprise Banking at Bank Millennium.

Special customer service stations are available in more than 150 Millennium branches. The Customers can open their accounts at any Bank Millennium branch.
Besides its branch network and Relationship Managers, Millennium Biznes offers its services also in alternative distribution channels allowing practically unlimited access to own funds through the Customer Call Center, fax service, Electronic Banking, a countrywide network of multifunctional Millennium / Euronet ATMs and the Internet.
