Bank Millennium is the friendliest bank for retail customers in Poland

Bank Millennium won in the main "Friendly Bank – Retail Customers" ranking of best banks in Poland, prepared annually by the Newsweek magazine. In the "Friendly Bank – Internet Bank" ranking Bank Millennium came 2nd.

The main "Friendly Bank – Retail Customers" ranking looked at the level of services provided to private customers. Attention was given to features of bank outlets (organisation of customer service, cleanliness), quality of service (know-how of employees, way of engaging in a discussion, way of executing the most popular orders), customer acquisition and retention (ability to choose products, which the customer needs the most). Bank Millennium owes its victory to high scores in all the examined categories.

Two years ago we were 3rd, 2nd last year, today we won – said Joao Bras Jorge, First Deputy Chairman of the management Board of Bank Millennium receiving the award. This is the result of a quality improvement programme started three years ago, which spans the entire bank. The programme allowed us to reinforce a culture of high quality in our organisation. I am very pleased that it has been the Newsweek ranking, which confirmed our success.

The "Friendly Bank – Internet Bank" ranking evaluated the quality of services provided online (functionality of contact channels, navigating on the website, service delivery time). Bank Millennium came 2nd on the list, making it to the top 3 for the third consecutive (3rd place in 2011 and 1st in 2012).

The "Newsweek's Friendly Bank" list is seen to be the most prestigious in Poland. It is prepared on the basis of Mystery Client surveys, in which specialised auditors from Millward Brown SMG/KRC pretend to be actual Customers and evaluate practically all aspects of customer service both in traditional as well as electronic service channels. This year they visited 360 bank branches throughout Poland and contacted banks through the Internet and on the phone.
