Bank Millennium started selling A6 Bonds
On Monday 31 March 2003 Bank Millennium SA (formerly BIG Bank GDAŃSKI SA) started selling its A6 own Bonds. Between 31 March 2003 and 25 April 2003 the Bank will offer A6 Series Bonds of 100 złoties each (face value) with a total face value of 200 million PLN.
A6 Series Bonds are issued under the Bank Bond Issue Programme. A6 Series Bonds can be purchased by natural or legal persons as well as organisational units with no legal personality.
The yield of A6 Series Bonds was set at :
- 4,10% p.a. in the Small Investor Tranche (eligible investors will have to subscribe to no fewer than 10 A6 Series Bonds)
- 4,30% p.a. in the Large Investor Tranche (eligible investors will have to subscribe to no fewer than 500 A6 Series Bonds)
- 4,80% in the Targeted Tranche (eligible investors will have to subscribe to no fewer than 1000 A6 Series Bonds and at the time of subscribing will need to have a bank account with the Bank or securities account with DM BIG BG).
A6 Series Bonds will be redeemed by the Issuer on 15 December 2003.
The bonds are offered for sale at the Millennium, Millennium PRESTIGE and Millennium Biznes networks and are available directly from Millennium and Millennium PRESTIGE branches of Bank Millennium SA.
Under art. 52 of the Personal Income Tax Act, the purchase of bonds makes one eligible for tax exemption on deposit gains. The clients who wish gains on such investment to be tax exempt are given an option of an earlier redemption by the Bank between 17 - 28 November 2003.
