Regional Business Forum - cycle of meetings with entrepreneurs

Regional Business Forum constitutes a platform for discussion on opportunities and barriers to local enterprise, opportunities to obtain support as well as funding and on business project financing techniques. The key objective of the Forum is to build mutual relations and exchange of experience between entrepreneurs, local government authority representatives and the financial sector.
The Forum programme has been developed to facilitate information exchange on the current economic and business situation and sharing opinions on everyday business practices. We believe that this discussion, at the time when economy is emerging from crisis, makes great sense and will help us better understand out mutual expectations - says Bogusław Kott, Chairman of the Bank Millennium Management Board.
In the course of the meetings we want to convince entrepreneurs that innovation is a sine qua non condition of further, dynamic development of the Polish economy. I am happy to learn the Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza can support the Regional Business Forum with its authority and experience. Two years ago we assumed again, in our programmatic documents, that our priorities will include: innovative economy and protection of intellectual property. We have been consistently following this path and intend to convince Polish business to follow along - says Andrzej Arendarski, President of the Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza.
The planned agenda of the Regional Business Forum includes, in the coming months, more than ten meetings in different places in Poland. The meeting initiating the cycle will be held in Krakow on 10 May 2011. The event has been organised in cooperation with Krakow Municipal Office, Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza and company Roadshow Polska, under the honorary auspices of the Minister of Economy, Marshall of the Małopolskie Voivodship, President of the City of Krakow and under the auspices of the World Bank. The meeting will honoured by an addresses to be delivered by Marek Sowa, Marshall of the Małopolskie Voivodship, Jacek Majchrowski, President of the City of Krakow, Andrzej Arendarski, President of the Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza oraz Professor Dariusz Rosati, Member of the Bank Millennium Supervisory Board.
