Poland's first mobile banking for companies
Bank Millennium has developed and is now launching Poland's first mobile application, which allows corporate customers to have full access to their company accounts.
The application is used for performing financial transactions on company accounts with use of a mobile phone (Android/iPhone OS). The first Customers are already testing the new system. Full implementation and release of the application for downloading already in December.
Remote authorisation of payments when travelling on business is a service much expected and looked forward to by our customers. I believe that managers, financial directors and CEOs, who spend several weeks in a year away from their company, will actively use the new service. Bank Millennium has more than 75,000 business customers, the definite majority of whom already use Internet accounts. Thus the potential is huge. I believe that 80% of them will implement the new service and will have their bank in their handset - says Ricardo Campos, Director of the Electronic Banking Department.
The new mobile application from Bank Millennium is not only about access to information about the balance on accounts, credit cards and deposits as well as a convenient map, showing the location of the nearest ATM or bank branch. The new system offers the possibility to remotely manage the company's finances, including the possibility to view, authorise and submit payment orders as well as making domestic as well as internal transfers between the company's accounts. User rights are the same as in the Millenet system. Each user can also personalise the app to meet his or her needs. For the sake of security access to the system is protected by a four-digit PIN number, selected by the user during service configuration. Orders get authorised with mobile passwords, defined in the Millenet system. An additional authorisation instrument will also be SMS P@sswords. Access to the new service does not involve any additional expenses. The app will be available for free-of-charge downloading from App Store and Google Play.

Full list of functionalities of the new application:
- possibility of viewing, authorising and submitting pending orders (regardless of type of order), checking current status and details of the authorised orders
- viewing a list of current accounts, term deposits, credit cards and loans within the held rights; checking balances, viewing the history of transactions – seeking transactions on accounts by type and date of transaction, filtering by name of beneficiary and transfer description
- viewing the list and details of upcoming payments
- viewing blocked amounts on accounts as well as pending credit card transactions
- preparing payments to the company's internal accounts
- making domestic transfers together with the possibility of forwarding them for further authorisation or immediate authorisation and sending (transfers can also be made using the list of beneficiaries in the Millenet system)
- viewing the list of transfer beneficiaries defined in the Millenet system, seeking beneficiaries by description or name
- viewing and prematurely terminating deposits
- downloading a combined statement for several accounts (.pdf file)
- checking current FX rates for cash and non-cash transactions
- finding locations of Millennium cash machines and branches
