Pay motorway toll in Bank Millennium's smart app

Bank Millennium has made automatic payments available in its mobile application for the A2 motorway toll on the Poznań-Konin section. The solution complements the list of toll sections on the A1 and A4. The partner of the service is Autopay Sp. z o. o.

Bank Millennium customers have long been able to pay motorway toll without the need to stop at toll gates. The payment is calculated automatically when covering a given section. The system at the gates reads the license plates of the vehicle recorded in electronic banking, the traffic lights turn green and raise the barrier. The fee is charged from the account indicated by the user.

From 19 May, the Bank has made automatic payments available in its application on the next section: Poznań - Konin on the A2 motorway. Until now, drivers could pay in this way for the A1 motorway section between Nowa Wieś and Rusocin and the A4 on the Katowice-Kraków section. Driving on the A2 motorway on the Poznań - Konin section involves a one-off additional service fee charged by the Motorways - PLN 0.59 for each trip. To use this solution, users should add the section of the A2 in the banking application in the "Available motorways" section.

Automatic payments for motorways are very popular among customers during the holidays. Bank Millennium was the first bank in Poland to offer this type of solution already in the summer of 2019. It complements the extensive catalogue of value-added services in the smart mobile app. Bank Millennium customers can also pay for parking, public transport tickets, bills as part of recurring payments and exchange currencies directly in the trusted banking app, e.g. when preparing to go abroad.
