Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce 10th Anniversary Gala. Joao Bras Jorge again elected PPCC Chairman.

On 10th May the General Meeting of Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (PPCC) approved the nomination of Bank Millennium CEO Mr. Joao Bras Jorge for the position of new Chairman of the Management Board of Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce for the 2018-2020 period.
On that same evening a gala cocktail was offered on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of PPCC, during which following persons, among others, were present: Mr. Paulo Alexandre Ferreira, Vice-minister of Economy of Portugal; Mr. Andrzej Stanisławek, Polish Senator, Chairman of the Poland-Portugal Cooperation Parliamentary Group; Mr. Jacek Junosza-Kisielewski, Polish Ambassador in Lisbon as well as Mr. Joao Pedro Guimaraes, Secretary General of Portugal’s National Chamber of Commerce of Lisbon; as well as representatives of Polish public administration and PPCC member companies.
At the same time a new PPCC Management Board was appointed with representatives of selected member companies i.a. Jeronimo Martins Polska, Eurocash, Mota-Engil Central Europe, EDP-R, Martifer Renewables, Bakoma, Haitong, Parfois, Colep Polska, Domański Zakrzewski Palinka, LPR and Browary Łódzkie. Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (PPCC) was established in 2008 in Warsaw as a private initiative. PPCC aims to promote bilateral business relations between Poland, Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries (Brazil, Mozambique, Angola) and to encourage Portuguese investors to invest in Poland and vice versa. The Chamber of Commerce offers assistance to businesses in establishing trade contacts, legal support, seeking business partners, organising trade missions, seminars and conferences. PPCC is made-up of Polish companies with Portuguese capital as well as other Polish and international companies, which do business on the Portuguese market.
