New Savings Account in EUR and USD with a promotional interest rate
Another innovation from Bank Millennium is the FX Savings Account, which allows savings to be kept and earning interest in a safe way. “For starters” the bank offers a high promotional interest rate: 1.2% on new money in USD and 1% for EUR.
- Dynamic growth of FX deposits can be seen on the market, where the euro remains the dominating currency, despite temporary increase of interest in the dollar. Therefore and with people who travel (both privately as well as on business) and earn in foreign currencies, we decided to add a new Savings Account to our product range. Initially an additional incentive to save, a unique one on the FX deposits market, will be an above-average interest rate. – Marek Ubysz, Director of the Savings Products Sub-unit in Bank Millennium explains.

The promotional interest rate is valid for 92 days and is counted from the day, in which the first new money deposit is made to the account during the Promotion period. The Promotion will be valid from 3rd July to 1st October 2016. The standard interest rate per annum is 0.5% for USD and 0.2% for EUR. Fees: account opening EUR/USD 0 – fee for account maintenance EUR/USD 0 – first withdrawal/transfer in a calendar month EUR/USD 0 – the second and every subsequent withdrawal/transfer in a calendar month EUR/USD 1.
Money on the FX Savings Account is protected by BFG in keeping with the Act on Banking Guarantee Fund.
Promotion details are available in Promotion Regulations and in the Price List in a Millennium branch and on www.bankmillennium.pl. After the Promotion period variable interest rate shall apply, as per the Price List.
