Visa Europe Member Awards is an international competition, which distinguishes the most innovative card enterprises and products of Visa member banks from the entire Europe. Cards awarded in this year's edition of the competition, were selected from more than 110 candidates from all over Europe, in seven topical categories. The winners were selected by a jury composed of experts from the card industry from the entire Europe. Millennium Visa Impresja was recognised as the best card offer for a specific customer segment. The jury of the competition appreciated innovative solutions applied in the Impresja offer to best meet customer expectation and, simultaneously, satisfy the ever-changing conditions on the payment card market.

The results of the competition were announced on April 8 this year during a two-day Visa conference in Barcelona. The award was collected by Roy Hutchinson, Director of the Retail Banking Marketing Department at Bank Millennium.
The prize in the Visa Europe Member Awards 2011 comes as yet another distinction for Millennium Visa Impresja card. Last year the card was honoured with the main prize in the international Publi-News Trophees competition in the loyalty cards category and was recognised as the most innovative loyalty card in Europe in 2010. Millennium Visa Impresja was the first card from Poland, which was awarded in this competition. The card was also awarded an Audience Award in the 2010 prettiest Polish card competition, which accompanied the Central European Electronic Card Warsaw 2010.
