Bank Millennium supports intercultural development

For the third time already Bank Millennium has granted a scholarship for the best undergraduate student of Portuguese language studies. This time the best student was Anna Kozłowska.
- For the third time already we are rewarding the best student of Portuguese language studies. This scholarship has a deeper meaning for us because we have our share in development and gaining intercultural experience by Polish students and in this way making the Portuguese language and culture popular in Poland. For years now the Bank has been taking part in various educational projects because we know that such activities bear fruit in the future ― Jacek Chmielewski, Director of the HR Department of Bank Millennium, said.
The scholarship is the result of a 3-year agreement signed in 2016, which is intended to support development and broadening of intercultural experience of Polish students, making the teaching of the Portuguese language and culture more popular in Poland. The agreement also deals with granting scientific scholarships, which make possible studying in Portugal and rewarding the best students in the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies of the University of Warsaw.
Anna Kozłowska will use the scholarship to go to Portugal in the summer of this year where she will attend a monthly course of Portuguese language and culture.
The Camões Institute is an institution, which disseminates Portuguese language and culture learning abroad and promotes the Portuguese language worldwide. The main shareholder of Bank Millennium is Millennium bcp, Portugal’s largest private bank.
