Bank Millennium in new mini format

Bank Millennium has just now opened its first mini branch in a new arrangement in Galeria Krakowska. This modern branch format allows customers to have a quick and comfortable relationship with the bank. In such a mini branch you will e.g. be able to very quickly open an account or take a loan.
The new Bank Millennium branch concept is customer-friendly, innovative and convenient. Located in a wide shopping centre corridor it attracts people with its open space and is conducive to handling banking business quickly when shopping.
— In accordance with Bank Millennium’s strategy for 2018-2020 one of strategic objectives is significant growth of acquisition of new active customers. Nowadays potential customers have less and less time to go to traditional branches and they spend their leisure time very often in shopping centres. Therefore Bank Millennium chooses places where customers like to be and spend a lot of their time. We want to be near them and allow them to have easier access to banking services — Wojciech Rybak, Member of the Management Board of Bank Millennium, said. —Adapting professional service to the new smaller mini-format is about adapting to customers’ lifestyle and style of banking. Despite being open to new technologies in banking customers still need a direct relationship with a Relationship Manager. Thus we hope that by enhancing the availability and scope of services offered in our Millennium mini branches will be accepted by our current and new customers and that the new format will become a strong part of our branch network in shopping centres — Wojciech Rybak added.
The comfort of compact bank branches
In the new Bank Millennium’s Millennium mini branches customers will be able to make transactions online and also to set-up basic banking products with the Relationship Manager. The Mini Branches will be offering personal and savings accounts, debit and credit cards as well as credit products: cash loan and personal account overdraft. Mini Branches of Bank Millennium will be offering cashless services, however most of them will have an automatic teller/cash deposit machine thus enabling customers to make cash transactions directly.
Millennium mini branches have a modern style and practical layout and follow the appearance of Bank Millennium’s new branches. The new format is supposed to provide fast service but also to assure maximum comfort and privacy during conversations and when performing banking activities.
The future of bank branches
According to the “#finanseprzyszłosci or how Poles see their bank in 2018 and in 2028” survey carried out by IBRiS for Bank Millennium:
- more than 40% of persons polled are inclined to assume that by 2028 bank branches will not have disappeared but will be transformed into fully automatic outlets - this is the opinion of 90% of respondents whereas 37% have no doubt that full automation will happen;
- as much as 92% think that in 2028 most business, such as setting up a deposit or taking a loan will be possible with use of virtual reality without the need to visit a branch (more than half are almost sure of it);
- close to 80% of persons asked think that in 2028 they will be taking a loan or setting up a deposit in an ATM or by using the mobile app.
