Bank Millennium launched Samsung Pay payments

Bank Millennium customers using Samsung devices can now pay even more conveniently – thanks to the Samsung Pay service. Bank Millennium was among the first financial institutions in Poland to make this solution available.
Samsung Pay is a secure, fast, and intuitive mobile payment method that allows you to make contactless transactions using a compatibile Galaxy smartphone or smartwatch. The service works wherever contactless payments are accepted.
- Samsung Pay is a payment service long-awaited by our customers. We are all the more pleased that we were one of the first banks in Poland to make it available at the time of the launch of the service in Poland. This is another modern solution that fits into our strategy for the development of digital services and responds to the growing needs of users - says Tomasz Perski, Manager of the Customer Solutions Development Team - Cards and Payments in Bank Millennium.
Thanks to the integration with Samsung Wallet, Bank Millennium customers can add their payment cards to the application and conveniently pay with their Samsung Galaxy phone or watch without having to carry a wallet. The activation process is simple and fast, and transactions are secured with biometrics or a PIN.
— We follow the changing expectations of customers, who are increasingly choosing card payments in tokenised form, paying with a phone or other mobile device. Soon we will make available further solutions that will make it even easier to use this form of payment - explains Szymon Kuchciak, Director of the Payment Cards Subunit in Bank Millennium.
Thanks to the availability of Samsung Pay, the Samsung Wallet application gains full functionality for users in Poland.

Over 3 million Bank Millennium customers already actively use digital channels, and over 2.7 million use banking on mobile devices. The Bank attaches great importance to the development of mobile payments, consistently expanding the offer of modern solutions.
Customers can use BLIK contactless payments, as well as virtual wallets: Google Pay, Apple Pay and Garmin Pay. Soon, the Bank plans to make more contactless payment methods available.
The development of mobile payments is the next step in the implementation of the "Value and Growth" strategy for 2025-2028, which aims to increase the number of retail customers to 3.7 million and achieve the position of the bank of first choice for 70 percent of them.
