The FTSE4Good Series is designed to help investors integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into their investment decisions. The indexes identify companies that better manage ESG risks and are used as a basis for tracker funds, structured products and as a performance benchmark. The ESG Ratings are used by investors who wish to incorporate ESG factors into their investment decision making processes, or as a framework for corporate engagement and stewardship.

- Inclusion in the FTSE4Good Emerging Index is important for us and confirmation that we are a sustainable and transparent company. This is already the second index of socially responsible companies that Bank Millennium is part of. Since 2011 we have been unceasingly included in Respect Index on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The index components are selected among the biggest companies listed on Warsaw’s stock market and operating in keeping with the best principles of Corporate Governance, Information Governance and Investor Relations as well as reflecting environmental, social and economic factors - Joao Bras Jorge, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Millennium, said. - This year we also received other distinctions for CSR activities. Our consistency in building a sustainable company has been appreciated in Poland and abroad. We were recognised in the Ranking of Responsible Companies – a list of Poland’s biggest companies evaluated from the point of view of quality of Corporate Social Responsibility management. We also received the CSR Silver Leaf. Bank Millennium was also hailed the Best Bank in Central and Eastern Europe in the Corporate Social Responsibility category. The Euromoney international financial magazine acclaimed us for the transparent way of presenting CSR activities, diversity and complexity of programmes and above all for the innovative approach to customers, thanks to which using the services of Bank Millennium is simple and easy. All these awards are confirmation that CSR efforts are part and parcel of our everyday business. We have a practical translation of the complicated CSR acronym – we like to help, we care about the environment and make life easier for customers. This is the approach that builds public recognition - Joao Bras Jorge added.
