Bank Millennium started cooperation with Huawei

- Huawei devices are used by a lot of our clients. We know that those who have no access to Google services on their devices have been long waiting for this joint effort. We have been receiving many questions from them for a few months now. Thanks to this cooperation, our mobile app will soon be available in the AppGallery on all the Huawei devices – says Halina Karpińska, Director of the Electronic Banking Department in Bank Millennium.

- We are reckoning that in December we will be able to introduce Bank Millennium app into the AppGallery, first for the GMS devices. Afterwards, integration with HMS will follow, whereby also the users of the latest Huawei devices will be able to enjoy Bank Millennium application - says Witold Walczak, director of the ecosystem development in Huawei CBG Polska.

Bank Millennium’s mobile app provides you a convenient access to finances anywhere and anytime. It has wide personalisation options, is available in omni-channel processes and provides open banking solutions. Among other things, it supports contactless payments, transfers, payments for city transport and car parking, as well as payments for motorways without waiting in queues and collecting tickets. As part of open banking, it provides Finance 360° service that allows checking account position and transaction history on the account in as many as nine other banks as well as the functionality to confirm income in the cash loan application process by logging to one of eight other banks.

Bank Millennium’s mobile app also features the augmented reality technology for setting-up a deposit, supports purchases of motor insurance with use of Aztec code from the vehicle’s registration certificate or travel insurance with the innovative “Travel assistance” service. The bank’s mobile banking also allows updating the data in your identity document, getting credit products within a few seconds when additional cash is needed as well as sort out conveniently many other issues. It is being continuously developed.

AppGallery is an original Huawei app store with already more than 1000 Polish applications and the total of more than 96 thousand apps. Every month the store is used by more than 490 million active users from all over the world. The shop is part of the Huawei Mobile Services ecosystem which comprises such services as the Cloud, Browser and Themes. The key to the HMS ecosystem is Huawei ID, i.e. user’s digital id enabling quick and fast access to services on Huawei devices.
