Bank Millennium started selling A10 Bond
On Monday 31 March 2003 Bank Millennium SA (formerly BIG Bank GDAŃSKI SA) started selling its A10 own Bonds. Between 1 August 2003 and 29 August 2003 the Bank will offer A10 Series Bonds of 100 zloties each (face value) with a total face value of 300 million PLN.
A10 Series Bonds are issued under the Bank Bond Issue Programme. A10 Series Bonds can be purchased by natural or legal persons as well as organisational units with no legal personality.
The yield of A10 Series Bonds was set at :
- 3,00% p.a. in the Small Investor Tranche (eligible investors will have to subscribe to no fewer than 10 A10 Series Bonds)
- 3,25% p.a. in the Large Investor Tranche (eligible investors will have to subscribe to no fewer than 500 A10 Series Bonds)
- 3,50% in the Targeted Tranche (eligible investors will have to subscribe to no fewer than 50 A10 Series of Bonds and will transfer the amount received from redeemed bonds to 6 month term deposit
A10 Series Bonds will be redeemed by the Issuer on 15 December 2003.
The bonds are offered for sale at the Millennium, Millennium PRESTIGE and Millennium Biznes networks and are available directly from Millennium and Millennium PRESTIGE branches of Bank Millennium SA.
Under art. 52 of the Personal Income Tax Act, the purchase of bonds makes one eligible for tax exemption on deposit gains. The clients who wish gains on such investment to be tax exempt are given an option of an earlier redemption by the Bank between 17 - 28 November 2003.
