Bank Millennium is again one of the best in terms of service quality, gold for WWF Millennium Mastercard, Konto 360°Junior on the podium!

In this year's edition of the Golden Banker 2024 ranking, Bank Millennium took a high second place in the category of the best multi-channel service quality, with a difference of only 0.4 p.p. compared to the winner. In the payment card – best design category, gold was awarded to the unique WWF Millennium Mastercard with the image of a lynx, a species threatened with extinction in Poland. Konto 360° Junior also deserved a distinction, taking third place in the category of accounts for children.

As the organisers emphasise, in terms of the quality of service, the leader and runner-up of the ranking are beyond the reach of other banks. The best in the list represent a masterful level of communication with the customer regardless of the contact channel, and the position in the first two places was determined by nuances. Such a high rating of the quality of service in Bank Millennium was due to the first two places in the subcategories of hotline and e-mail/form/chat, the second place in the internet/application subcategory and the third place in the branches subcategory. In the opinion of the organisers, the bank is a role model for many competitors.

- This is another year with such high results, which makes us extremely happy and motivates us to act. This is an important ranking because it is multi-level – it checks not only whether the bank provides the same high level of experience in different contact channels, but also how it cares for different groups of customers. It combines two perspectives – a new and an existing customer. This is a more difficult test for the bank, as it must ensure high quality and build great relationships with the customer on many levels.says Magdalena Suchanek, Director of the Quality Department at Bank Millennium.

The bank's hotline is in a class of its own, as the organisers comment. In this subcategory, the bank has won for another year in a row.

- I would like to thank everyone working in Bank Millennium's Contact Center. For the fourth time, we defended the title of the best telephone service and for the second time the best service in the chat and mail channel. We know that the highest level of service has a significant impact on the bank's business results. For several years, we have been observing an increase in interest in remote forms of contact. The first reason is the growing number of active customers, currently our customer portfolio has significantly exceeded 3 million. The second is digitalisation. When banking with us in the mobile application or online service, in more complicated matters it is necessary to consult our advisor. It is always possible via chat or phone. First of all, we specialise people who work with the client so that they can provide substantive support for them in more complex issues. However, we help with any issue we are asked about - says Rafał Dywan, Director of the Direct Banking Department.

In the category Payment card – the best design, in which Internet users vote, this year's gold was awarded to the unique Bank Millennium WWF Millennium Mastercard credit card with the image of a lynx.

- We are very happy with this award, especially since Internet users voted in this category. It is no coincidence that we have submitted this card. In addition to its beautiful graphics, we wanted to emphasise our long-term cooperation with WWF Poland. Joint activities revolve around educating consumers, employees and customers for nature conservation. Together, we want to draw attention to the fact that forests are essential for us to live, and they are also home to most of the species we know living on earth. And the lynx on the card is one of the species threatened with extinction in Poland. Together with WWF Poland, we are involved in the restoration of its population. We donate PLN 50 to WWF Poland for each main card issued; in addition, each year we provide special funds for WWF Poland's statutory activities, supporting the protection of forest ecosystems and animal species associated with themsays Szymon Kuchciak, Head of the Payment Cards Sub-unit at Bank Millennium.

The WWF Millennium Mastercard has been designed with nature in mind, because the forest and the animals are one, they merge and intertwine to create a wonderful ecosystem. The Card supports, inter alia, the protection of lynx habitats in Poland. Aesthetically designed, with data on the back and an indentation for the visually impaired. It is made of 85% recycled plastic.

Bank Millennium was also on the podium in the category of accounts for children. Konto 360° Junior took third place in the ranking. It was rated as one of the more comprehensive accounts, which was not inferior to the leader in terms of parameters such as basic fees. Favourable conditions for people who want to save money were emphasised. The study evaluated both accounts for children under the age of 13 and accounts for teens who had not yet reached adulthood.

- More and more parents give their children pocket money in digital form, treating the opening of an account as an important part of financial education. Thanks to the accounts for kids, children in a natural way learn to manage their budget and learn about the value of money and its significance in everyday life. The award is a very important signal for us that our offer is tailored to the needs and capabilities of the youngest, and this is very important to us - says Magdalena Jaskóła, Head of the Current Accounts Sub-unit at Bank Millennium.

"Golden Banker" is the largest survey of the banking sector in Poland, organised by Bankier.pl and "Puls Biznesu". A comprehensive quality study is conducted by the Minds & Roses agency. The aim of the ranking is to identify banking institutions that provide the highest standards of service quality, offer the best products and conduct activities that stand out from the competition.
