Bank Millennium has become a PCAF signatory

Bank Millennium has joined the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials signatories. The PCAF methodology used to calculate carbon footprints is a market standard and enhances the comparability of data in the area of sustainability.
At the beginning of 2026, Bank Millennium became a signatory of the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials – PCAF. It is a global initiative of financial institutions committed to measuring and disclosing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with financial activities. PCAF’s Standard is a set of guidelines containing uniform methodology for calculating carbon footprints, used by numerous entities on several continents.
Bank Millennium publicly reported the Group's GHG emissions using the PCAF methodology for the first time in 2024. The latest data, calculated using the PCAF indicator database, was presented as part of the 2025 sustainability reporting.
We have joined the international community of over 700 financial institutions, including those from the Polish market, gathered around the PCAF. We published the Bank Millennium Group's sustainability report for 2025 as a PCAF signatory. This is another step in building the maturity of our portfolio emissions calculation process, – says Magdalena Trzynadlowska, Director of the Sustainability Department at Bank Millennium.
Using established and widely recognized methodologies for calculating GHG emissions increases the comparability of data shared with investors and other stakeholder groups. As a result, it increases market transparency and facilitates informed decision-making.
Bank Millennium Group's GHG emissions data, calculated using the PCAF methodology and data, are presented in our sustainability reporting, including the latest report for 2025, available here: www.bankmillennium.pl/documents/d/guest/1_management_board_report_millennium_2025The link opens in a new tab.
