Bank Millennium enables employees and contractors to manage corporate payment cards on mobile devices without access to online banking

Bank Millennium has expanded its mobile banking offering for businesses. Users of corporate payment cards can now manage their cards directly in the Bank Millennium for Companies mobile application – without the need to have access to online banking. This is another step taken by the bank to simplify day‑to‑day processes in companies.
The new functionality allows full management of a corporate payment card on a smartphone in a dedicated “I only have a card” mode. The solution has been designed for employees and contractors who use business cards in their daily work but do not require access to full online banking services.
Mobile access to corporate cards addresses the needs of companies in which payment cards are used as operational tools – for example in business travel, sales, logistics or administration. It applies both to sales representatives and drivers, as well as to employees using prepaid cards or cards assigned to specific roles within an organisation.
– Mobile banking is increasingly becoming the primary channel through which companies interact with their bank. When designing new solutions, we focus on making technology genuinely support users’ everyday work – by being simple, intuitive and time‑saving. Mobile card management responds to the needs of companies that want to maintain control over expenses, regardless of the employee’s location or role within the organisation – says Paweł Idzikowski, Director of the Corporate Digital Banking Department at Bank Millennium. – The digitalisation of corporate banking services only makes sense if it covers the entire customer journey and is tailored to actual user roles. That is why we think of our systems first and foremost as tools that help people perform their work efficiently – he adds.
Users of the Bank Millennium for Companies mobile application activated in card‑only mode can securely check their balance and transaction history, as well as set or change their card PIN independently. They also receive security notifications about key events, such as changes to limits or temporary card blocks.
In addition, the application allows users, among other things, to manage online payments and 3D Secure, view card limits, temporarily block or cancel a card, download statements and transaction confirmations, and update card parameters.
To use mobile access to a corporate payment card, it is enough to download the Bank Millennium for Companies application and activate it in the “I only have a card” mode.
