Bank Millennium has launched an omnichannel service, which allows customers applying for cash loan to confirm income with use of logging on to another bank via Bank Millennium’s Internet banking. It is the first bank on the market to introduce this service in three channels at the same time – in Internet banking, in branches and in TeleMillennium, while within the next few weeks it will also be introduced in mobile banking.

This is another solution we offer to customers in open banking and the opportunities brought by PSD2. The service has been designed with the omnichannel approach, thanks to which customers can decide in which channel they want to start the process of applying for a bank product and in which to finish it. We were the first bank in Poland a few years ago to introduce such a strategy of designing our services – Halina Karpińska, Director of Electronic Banking Department in Bank Millennium, said.

Customers who are applying for a loan in the income model can use the alternative - to a statement of account - method of confirming salary inflow to their account. They just need to download the history of transactions logging on to the account, which is credited with their salary in another bank, via Millenet. The service is available to those customers, from whom only one document to confirm their income is required. If a positive assessment of their credit capacity and worthiness is given, the process will be fully automatic.

The service proposed by Bank Millennium is omnichannel. This means that it is available in e-banking as well as in branches an in TeleMillennium. In such case the application will be entered by the Customer Adviser and when the need arises to confirm income, the customer will go through the process in Millenet, personally logging on to the other bank and identifying the salary account. Signing of the agreement is also done in Millenet, although customers can also sign it in a branch.

In the first stage confirming income will be possible from accounts in two banks – Alior Bank and ING. However development of the service continues and more banks will soon be added to the list.
