The Bank Millennium Foundation will allocate PLN 250 thousand for the promotion and implementation of eco-initiatives for the good of the Planet and local communities.

In this year’s edition of the World’s Best Digital Banks competition by Global Finance Magazine, Bank Millennium was again hailed The Best Consumer Digital Bank in Poland. The bank was also recognised as the best in as many as 13 other categories, concerning both services for individual customers and companies.

This Friday, Iława will once again become the capital of jazz. On 9 August the International Festival of Traditional Jazz "Old Jazz Meeting - Złota Tarka” will start. Three days full of extraordinary musical experiences and many outstanding Polish and foreign musicians await jazz fans. Bank Millennium has been a sponsor of the festival for more than 20 years now.

At the beginning of April, the spring 12th edition of the Financial ABCs, an original programme of the Bank Millennium Foundation, was launched. At the end of May, the spring edition of the programme came to an end. 234 workshops were carried out in 69 kindergartens, attended by 5381 children. The 12th edition of the programme was held under the patronage of the Ombudsman for Children.

How to ensure comprehensive financing of investments covered by EU subsidies? The solution is Bank Millennium's proposal to combine a bridge loan with a subsidy with a long-term investment loan. A bridge loan allows companies to finance the eligible costs of the investment in the part covered by the subsidy and is granted in an amount equal to its amount. The remaining part of the investment will be covered by a long-term investment loan. If the subject of financing concerns a so-called green project, i.e. e.g. energy transformation of the company, reduction of material consumption of production, the company can count on preferential terms from Bank Millennium – no commission for granting financing and a loan period of up to 15 years.

Bank Millennium was on the podium of this year's edition of the "ESG Ranking. Responsible Management". In the G (Governance) section, it was ranked third. In the general classification it took a high 9th place.

Nearly 100% of Bank Millennium's corporate banking relationship managers have already received green ESG certificates as part of the Green Academy. This is Bank Millennium's proprietary development programme, which aims to improve the competences of relationship managers in the field of financing green investments and broadly understood ESG issues. The aim of the programme is also to support the development of a green financing portfolio, including investment financing, in line with the Bank's ESG strategy.

“In times of uncertainty, interest in economic education is growing. We have a good time to introduce systemic solutions in this regard,” argued the Bank Millennium Foundation during the European Financial Congress in Sopot.
