The document presents the most important projects, achievements and initiatives implemented in the areas of financial education, employee volunteering and culture.
The year 2025 was a special time for the Bank Millennium Foundation – the jubilee of the 35th anniversary of its activity for the benefit of local communities, while implementing a number of large-scale projects of social value.
- The Bank Millennium Foundation celebrates its 35th anniversary – it is one of the longest-running corporate foundations in Poland. For three and a half decades, we are supporting culture, financial education of children and parents, and developing employee volunteering. This festivity is a celebration of volunteers, people involved in the implementation of the Foundation's activities. All our initiatives would not have been possible without the involvement of hundreds, or even thousands, of Bank Millennium employees. Their energy and help exceed our expectations. Thank you for your trust and joint building of social capital of the highest category. – Iwona Jarzębska, Chairwoman of the Bank Millennium Foundation.
One of the important elements of the Foundation's activity remains the Financial ABCs programme, under which almost 100 thousand preschool children have already been trained. In 2025, 400 workshops were held, in which more than 9,500 children participated, and the programme – as in previous years – met with great interest and was under the patronage of the Ombudsman for Children. In addition, in 2025, the Banka Millennium Foundation took steps towards complete accessibility of the programme, so that all children, regardless of their abilities and needs, can benefit from knowledge about finance.
In the area of employee volunteering, the Foundation was developing a grant project open to various initiatives responding to local needs. In 2025, thanks to the involvement of over 300 volunteers, 54 social initiatives were created, which really supported communities throughout Poland. Every year, the Foundation implements projects responding to the needs of local communities, such as: assistance in the pandemic crisis, assistance to refugees from Ukraine, assistance to victims affected by floods, eco-actions with care for the environment.
The Foundation also continued to develop its activities in the field of culture. In 2025, she established cooperation with Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, implementing the Se(a)ns Sztuki project promoting the accessibility of art and strengthening its role in building social sensitivity. The project combined art and cinema, creating a valuable educational and cultural space for a wide range of recipients. The Foundation has been supporting culture for years, being a long-term partner of the Young Art Compass, and for over 2 decades a patron of the prestigious Golden Sceptre award for artists.
The report also includes a summary of the communication and educational activities carried out by the Foundation, including projects in social media as well as educational materials published in the Foundation's digital channels. These activities contribute to the systematic strengthening of social awareness and support for the developing financial competences of children and parents.
