This is yet another support provided by Bank Millennium for students of this field of study in Warsaw. The initiative is long-term. Its initiators hope that it will pay off in the future also in the area of business, which is becoming transnational and requires high sensitivity to cultural differences. The Bank has almost doubled the value of its support this year. Dorota Jeż, the best undergraduate student of the B.A. course ending in 2022/23, received a cheque for EUR 2,500. She graduated with honours. The subject of her bachelor's thesis was the presence of African feminims in the works of the Mozambican writer Paulina Chiziane.

Bank Millennium, whose main shareholder is Millennium bcp, the largest private Portuguese bank, intensively supports projects promoting the history and culture of Portugal in Poland. The Bank has been funding scholarships for the best students of Portuguese Studies since 2013. In October last year, it was decided to extend the cooperation for another three years. The partners of the project are the University of Warsaw and the Camões Institute, which aims to disseminate the teaching of Portuguese language and culture abroad and to promote Portuguese as a global language of culture. Scholarships have already been granted to: Joanna Jaszczukowska (2015/16), Paulina Junko (2016/17), Anna Kozłowska (2017/18), Katarzyna Maź (2018/19) and Justyna Żmijewska (2021/22).
