From 1 July this year, Bank Millennium customers will be able to enjoy a broader range of payment options with FX cards. The Bank will introduce a multi-currency service for debit card holders, i.e. the option to link the card to FX accounts (in EUR, USD, GBP and CHF) and pay directly from these accounts without currency conversion. At the same time, for customers paying in FX directly from the Millennium 360° account or by credit card, the currency limit will be increased up to PLN 5,000 per month, which allows for settling FX transactions with the card without the Bank's margin for currency conversion. The Bank also applies consistently attractive exchange rates of card associations for payments in FX with all types of cards.

“We can see that our customers are eager to use state-of-the-art solutions, paying increasingly more often with FX cards, not only when travelling abroad. That is why we wanted to expand transparent solutions for FX card payments so that our customers could enjoy the freedom of transactions when on holidays or making currency payments online,” says Szymon Kuchciak, Head of the Payment Cards Sub-unit at Bank Millennium.

At the same time, Bank Millennium announced that at the end of March, the number of credit cards issued by the Bank exceeded 500,000. Bank Millennium is one of the few on the market that can boast of an increase in statistics in this respect.

“We are pleased to see that so many customers are recognizing the numerous benefits of having a credit card and managing their personal finances in a responsible manner. That is why we are constantly expanding the catalogue of additional services. Our approach has allowed us to increase the number of credit cards in our portfolio in defiance of the market, which confirms that we smoothly respond to the existing needs and expectations,” adds Szymon Kuchciak.

Bank Millennium currently offers five credit cards for individual customers. The cards differ in their interest rate and the package of services available to customers. An interesting product is certainly the WWF Millennium Mastercard. The card allows you to support environmental protection. For every main card issued, Bank Millennium transfers PLN 50 to WWF Poland account. The recently refreshed image of the WWF Millennium Mastercard has just received the Golden Banker 2024 statuette in the best designed payment card ranking.
