Bank Millennium on the podium of the Institution of the Year ranking

Bank Millennium with the title of winner in the category "Best Remote Account Opening Process" in the plebiscite of the mojebankowanie.pl portal. The results of the 9th edition of the Institution of the Year ranking have just been announced.

In the "Best Remote Opening Process" category, the portal's representatives launched 140 personal accounts. They used forms of remote account opening offered by banks, which do not require contact with an employee in the branch or with a courier. They used methods of confirming their identity using a selfie, e-ID and logging in to another bank. The results are a reflection of the level of customer satisfaction with the account launch process.

In this year's Institution of the Year ranking, the Bank's mobile application was ranked second out of 13 evaluated. The capabilities of the application and user reviews in Google Play and App Store were taken into account. The Bank also won statuettes in the categories of the best service in remote channels, the best online banking and the best process of opening an account in a branch. In the general classification of the plebiscite, Bank Millennium can boast the third place, significantly better than in the previous edition.

Work on an app doesn't end when it's put into the store. As long as our customers want to use our solutions, we will work to provide them with the highest possible quality of services. App improvement is a path, not an end in itself. At Bank Millennium, however, the key for us is development in response to the user's voice. Over the years – and the Bank Millennium application already has a dozen or so of them – we have observed how the needs of our clients have been changing. From a technological novelty, banking applications have reached a place where for many customers they are synonymous with a bank. A bank without a convenient, reliable and secure mobile application is now in the second row. Our mobile applications – the one for individual customers and the one for companies – are at the forefront of banking applications, but all departments of the bank work every day to maintain this high position. – says Halina Karpińska, Director of the Electronic Banking Department.

The process of opening an account is one of the most important in a bank, because it is the moment when the customer establishes a relationship with us. Today, more and more people are opting for the remote process, so we want the new customer to know that they are the most important to us from the very first moment in the application. We want to offer the simplest possible solutions, but at the same time we adapt to new regulations. We plan further changes and improvements in the process based on the latest technological trends and solutions that combine convenience and cybersecurity. We are analysing the possibility of implementing a process using the mObywatel profile and the personal profile from the e-ID, which may entail a lower restriction for the client (e.g. no transaction limit). – adds Tomasz Brzostowski, Head of the Digital Sales Sub-unit at Bank Millennium

In the 9th edition of the Institution of the Year ranking, the title of "Best Bank Branch in Poland" was won by 15 Bank Millennium branches. The statuettes will go to two outlets in Warsaw and to: Sopot, Rzeszów, Ruda Śląska, Poznań, Opole, Łódź, Kraków, Katowice, Jelenia Góra, Gliwice, Częstochowa, Włocławek and Zielona Góra.
