Bank Millennium has been included in this year's Financial Times Diversity Leaders Ranking

This list of European companies is compiled periodically by the elite economic and financial journal together with the research company Statista.
Bank Millennium is among the few Polish companies listed in the “Europe’s Diversity Leaders 2024" ranking. The ranking is based on the opinions of more than 100,000 European workers on the continent and experts in human resources and recruitment. The substantive partner of the project is the research company Statista. By completing the surveys, employees were given the opportunity to rate their employers' diversity practices and provide their perception of the practices of other leading employers in the industries they represented. Government administration bodies and educational institutions were excluded from the survey.
- The presence of Bank Millennium in the ranking is a great distinction for an organisation that has been promoting and supporting diversity among employees, clients and partners for years. We believe that diversity is a source of innovation, creativity and efficiency. That's why we make sure that every member of our team feels respected, valued, and engaged. At Bank Millennium, we implement a number of initiatives related to diversity: signing the UN Diversity Charter, organising trainings and workshops for employees and managers, cooperating with non-governmental organisations and academic institutions, supporting Paralympic athletes, participating in the Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival and many others. We create an organisational culture based on values such as openness, tolerance, respect and dialogue. I am convinced that this makes Bank Millennium an attractive and responsible employer that attracts and develops talents from various backgrounds and social groups – says Jacek Chmielewski, Director of the HR Department of Bank Millennium.
The ranking is being prepared since 2019. The bank has been included in it once again. This year, the authors of the ranking added three new indicators to the analysis: the share of women in leadership positions (e.g., executive committees, management boards, supervisory boards), diversity communication, and a diversity score calculated by the data provider. The idea was to bring the results achieved in the ranking even closer to the reality experienced by employees. Employee surveys now make up 70 percent of a company's final score, and these new metrics account for a whopping 30 percent of the overall score.
The “Europe’s Diversity Leaders 2024" ranking presents a list of 850 companies that received the highest score in the survey. Bank Millennium was ranked 262nd on the list, reaching 73.36 points. We are in the sixth position in the ranking among Polish companies, but we are the best in the domestic banking sector.
