Bank Millennium focuses on education and development of entrepreneurs

Bank Millennium launches an educational campaign for entrepreneurs. It wants to broaden the knowledge of people who run or intend to set-up their own business. As part of the "My Little Big Business" campaign, a series of educational podcasts, radio competitions with prizes and a number of activities involving influencers in social media are planned.

There are currently almost 3 million sole proprietorships in Poland. From month to month, this number is increasing. Poles open an average of 23,000 new one-person businesses per month. Nearly 80% of new start-ups on the market are sole traders. The campaign under the slogan "My Little Big Business" is addressed to micro-entrepreneurs and people who plan to open their own business. Its aim is to broaden knowledge in the field of banking for companies. Future entrepreneurs can learn how to open a company via the Internet and what to look for at the start in business. People who already run a business can count on a dose of knowledge in the field of banking services (i.a. a payment terminal on the phone or financing possibilities). Bank Millennium also dispels doubts why it is worth having a company account and what the benefits are of using the Konto Mój Biznes Account with a Visa debit card.

Polish entrepreneurs are increasingly living online, and the use of electronic banking is obvious to them like water in the tap. We notice an increase in interest in online services, which were previously not as popular as remotely setting up of a company account or registering a company in a banking application. We are constantly developing a range of digital services supporting running a business and it is important for us that all entrepreneurs know how they can conveniently use them while saving their time - says Anna Wydrzyńska-Czosnyka, Head of the Biznes Client Sub-unit at Bank Millennium.

The "My Little Big Business" campaign was launched on September 1, 2023. As part of the activities, competitions, educational podcasts and activities in social media are among activities carried out. Bank Millennium decided to cooperate with popular artists from the category of not only business, but also lifestyle. Starcom is responsible for the communication strategy, including media planning and buying.

Bank Millennium is considered the best bank for SMEs in Poland. It received such a distinction in this year's edition of the World's Best Digital Banks competition, organized by Global Finance Magazine. The bank was also indicated as the best consumer digital bank in Poland. In total, it received as many as 13 titles in this plebiscite.
