Update the browserIn 2025, more than 300 employees of the Bank Millennium Group supported local communities through volunteer activities. In its latest video, the Foundation summarised the volunteers’ work.
Employee volunteering at the Bank Millennium Foundation has been steadily growing year by year. Since 2023, the Foundation has recorded an almost twofold increase in the number of volunteers. This rise is reflected in the number of initiatives delivered, as well as in greater employee awareness and their willingness to take part in social projects. Employees of the Bank not only broke the record for the number of initiatives delivered, but above all demonstrated that helping others is an important element of the organisational culture across the entire Bank Millennium Group. In 2025, volunteers completed 54 projects in 45 locations, dedicating more than 2,325 hours to supporting those in need.
In 2025, the scope of volunteering activities was particularly diverse. The majority of projects focused on supporting children and young people, people in need, seniors, homeless animals, and the environment. Volunteers were involved, among other things, in providing assistance in hospitals and hospices, where they supported both patients and medical staff; they ran educational and environmental workshops for children and young people; and they organised material donation drives addressing the specific needs of local communities. Another important area of activity was support for animal shelters and sanctuaries, including both material assistance and hands on work. The initiatives responded to social needs and strengthened bonds with local communities across Poland.
As part of summarising the volunteers’ activities, the Foundation also published a video showcasing the scale, diversity and emotions associated with employee volunteering. The material highlights the heroes of last year’s initiatives, their motivations and the impact they have had on the lives of local communities.
