The Financial ABCs – a kindergarten kids financial education project of Bank Millennium Foundation has been awarded Honorary Patronage from the Ministry of National Education and the Children’s Ombudsman.

The proprietary kindergarten kids financial education programme started in 2016 has been prepared and is being carried out by the bank’s employees in cooperation with a non-governmental organisation. It aims to explain basic financial notions to children using games and play.

In the first edition of the project during 236 workshops almost 6000 children from 70 kindergartens from all over Poland were trained. For purposes of the programme, with the help of parents – employees of Bank Millennium, special education materials were prepared – books, colouring books and stickers. They are available both to children participating in the workshops as well as those visiting the bank’s branches. The second edition of the programme, which is planned to comprise 300 workshops, will start already this autumn.
